Social reformer Avinash Rai Khanna’s Popular Book ‘Samaj Chintan’ has been released in its Punjabi Version at fully thronged Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of Lovely Professional University. Former Chief Secretary of Punjab Government Mr Sarvesh Kaushal IAS; Lovely Group Chairman Mr Ramesh Mittal, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal; renowned Journalist & Writer Mr Jatinder Pannu and Mrs Meenakshi Khanna unveiled the Punjabi Version of the Book. Focused on improving the basic fabric of the society, this 192 paged book has 9 sections and 52 chapters for all class of readers, irrespective of their caste, creed or culture. Former Member of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha of India, Avinash Rai Khanna is National Vice-President of presently ruling party of the country ‘Bhartiya Janta Party, BJP In-charge of Jammu-Kashmir, Rajasthan and Goa.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Sarvesh Kaushal appreciated the sincere effort of Shri Khanna in collecting his valuable thoughts based on real life experiences. He shared that this book is the most valuable which awakens its readers and suggests solutions to the diverse problems. He informed that usually books are found with more thoughts and pages, but this is less in contents & pages and more in solution providing thoughts. It’s each and every chapter is like a brain storming session.

Chancellor Mr Ashok shared that Mr Khanna has all elements to bring about a transformation in the society. He thanked Mr Khanna to choose LPU for launching of his book. The book is utmost important for people. Journalist Mr Jatinder Pannu wanted all to be above petty politics and stand united to lead the country on top in the world.

Explaining about the book, Shri Khanna shared that the book contains his chosen life experiences and is primarily focused on improving the basic fabric of the society. Keen social worker and reformer holds that transformation in the society from better to the best is the duty of one and all. He informed that only society is responsible for creating problems and society itself has to provide befitting solutions. We ourselves should come forward to seek solutions. In this context he illustrated with examples of a blind gold-medal winner girl, an orphan and a deaf and dumb boy. He also desired to include the lessons of fundamental rights in the syllabi of each and every educational institution. He also wanted groups for save water, electricity, environment and more. He asked all to come forward and lead the country to be at the top in the world.

The book is published by the Prabhat Publishers of Delhi and each of its part has touched the imperative problems with their solutions right from the slum dwellers, homeless, physically and mentally challenged children, orphans, destitute, broken marriages, drug addiction in the youth, de-addiction and rehabilitation in the main stream and more. He also expressed his gratitude for having launched his book in the largest university of the country LPU, which is a mammoth citadel of learning and global transformation of the society thereupon.
