The internationally acclaimed bollywood stars interacted specially with LPU students of Journalism & Film Production, Multi-Media & Animation, and Fashion Technology programs. 

Hindi movie Zubaan stars Vicky Kaushal, Sarah-Jane Dias, and director Mozez Singh visited the Lovely Professional University campus today. The movie premiered at the 20th Busan International Film Festival, held annually in South Korea. The mobvie’s director Mozez Singh has bagged the coveted “Rising Director Asia Star” award for this directorial debut.

 The internationally acclaimed bollywood stars interacted specially with LPU students of Journalism & Film Production, Multi-Media & Animation, and Fashion Technology programs. Visiting actors also performed on the LPU stage for the entertainment of the multitude of international and national students at the University. Students enjoyed their performances enormously, and kept singing, dancing, and yelling along with them.

The critically aclaimed Vicky Kaushal of ‘Masaan’ fame shared his bollywood experiences with the students. He told students that through hard work alone his movie ‘Masaan’ earned him overwhelming critical acclaim from the mainstream media. He further shared that his upcoming film ‘Zubaan’ is an unconventional slice of life film.

Director Mozez and Sarah-Jane Dias shared that they were very happy about working in a coming-of-age commercial film. Sharing the story of the film, Sarah Jane Dias told the students that as the heroine of the film she follows a young boy (Vicky), who loses his faith and develops a fear of music on his journey fighting that fear and finding himself. LPU students put intelligent questions to the young stars and had them answered with insight, wit and humour.
