Lovely Professional University endeavors to serve the industry by conducting Corporate Training Programs custom designed for the relevant sectors of the economy. Human Resource Development Center collaborates with key Resource Persons across the University to serve the development needs of corporate personnel in a customized manner.
Disha Two-Day Training Workshop-II was organized for the second batch of petrol pump dealers of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). The program received active participation of the target audience. The program aimed at capacity building for Business Development and Team Leadership in the digital era. The 2-day program was spread over 10 sessions.
Lovely Professional University deputed experts in the relevant fields as the Resource Panel. Dr. Rajesh Verma, Professor, Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Associate Professor and Dy. Dean, Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Assistant Director, Mr. Narinder Singh Garcha, Assistant Director, Dr. Rahul Sharma, Associate Professor, Ms. Navpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Mr. Guneet Paul Singh, Assistant Professor, Ms. Kanu Sharma, Assistant Professor, facilitated the sessions on Team building and Leadership through experiential Learning. The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included inputs, group discussions, Audio Video based and situational analysis, Role Plays and presentations by the participants.

They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons. The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic. It was crafted to meet the training needs stated by the client. LPU- HRDC is committed to provide tailor made Professional Development Programs for the corporate sector. These training programs also help in strengthening industry-academia relations thus opening new vistas of mutual collaboration.
