Effective Ways of Everyday Saving

Living is expensive business, and money is always short. But saving isn’t a lost cause. I have some tips for you to keep your wallet happy, and then some.

1. Think twice: Whenever you go out, maybe for some grocery shopping or just to hang out with friends, always think twice. It's better to get fewer groceries than you estimate you may need, rather than getting a lot and throwing them in the trash at the end of the week. And that spiffy new jacket? If you can live without it, do. Try and spend wisely. Always.

2. Aim: Aim for short-term saving goals. Set a deadline and start saving small, you will save more successfully, I promise!

3. Set limits: If you're a big online shopper, get a limit on your cards. You won't be able to spend after the limit, which means you'll save automatically.

4. Loose change: Save the loose change, even if it's a one rupee coin you see in your pocket. You might be able to save a lot of money by the end of the year.

5. Take advantage: You must know the facilities your college is providing. Rent books rather than buying them. For recreational reading, borrow from the nearest library and try to finish the book by the return due date, so you don’t incur a fine.

I hope you all save some money by the end of 2017.

Good luck!!
