Lovely Professional University (LPU) once again became a vibrant hub of art and culture as it hosted a captivating theatrical performance of Ek Lamhaa Zindagi. The play, known for its intense emotional depth and powerful storytelling, left the audience deeply moved and reflective.
The performance was brilliantly brought to life by acclaimed actor Juhi Babbar Soni, whose compelling portrayal added authenticity and emotional gravity to the narrative. Co-directed by renowned theatre personality Makarand Deshpande along with Juhi Babbar Soni herself, the production stood out for its creative direction, layered storytelling, and impactful stagecraft.
The evening witnessed an engaged audience, who remained immersed throughout the performance, appreciating the play’s exploration of human emotions, relationships, and the fleeting nature of time—core themes that resonated strongly with the students and faculty present.

Following the performance, Juhi Babbar Soni was felicitated in a formal ceremony by Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of Lovely Professional University. She was also honoured by Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro Chancellor of LPU, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Indian theatre and performing arts.
The event was organised by the Student Welfare Wing of LPU, reaffirming the university’s commitment to promoting cultural engagement and experiential learning beyond academics.
