If you are a person who is interested in modeling, LPU can provide you with the platform to develop the necessary skills you require for it. You can do modeling at LPU while being a regular student and the special thing about it is that you get to choose it alongside your curricular studies. No matter what field you are taking your education in, you can choose to do modeling besides it.
As a Model at LPU, you get many opportunities to prove yourself. There are lots of events, competitions and fashion shows that are held within and outside the university. It includes inter-college, inter-university and National and International titles. All the details about these are provided in the Announcements Section of the LPU Touch App and are managed by the Department of Student Welfare (DSW). All the queries, forms, travel and accommodation guides are provided by DSW for any respective event.
Various big fashion shows, TV shows, etc. are held at our university in which you can get to meet a lot of celebrities, directors, designers and people who are full of experience. Meeting such potential people isn’t just a great experience in terms of learning about this field but also a chance to get featured with them in case they like your portfolios.
A bunch of songs, movie shoots are also cinematographed inside the big campus of LPU. This opens another wide opportunity to act or model for them. I personally have acted for Punjabi songs and it always remains as an amazing experience. The university is also really supportive of bringing opportunities from all the renowned companies and fashion brands for their fellow models. Always just be ready with your Portfolio, and as soon as you see such an announcement.
Also being a model at LPU makes you different from all the other students. You are known to everyone on the campus including faculties as well. You also become a centre of attraction for everyone including all the renowned people who visit the campus from time to time and also you are specially invited in all the major events which happen inside the campus. You are also sent by the university to different functions, events and meet happening outside the university as well. As a model at LPU, you just don’t complete your normal studies but also open up many different career opportunities for yourself. Even if you choose not to continue the modeling career in the future, all the participation, awards, and experience will definitely help you in your CV.
