Yes, Lovely Professional University indeed has the most dynamic campus I have ever seen or heard about. The dynamicity of the campus is seen when we talk about the events that are conducted in the university throughout the year, or when we talk of the achievements and laurels that the students bring to themselves and to the university, adding to these are the researches and inventions that the scientists here, keep on doing round the clock. Not only these, but also the international tie-ups, and an enormous crowd of foreign students make the place more diverse, interesting to stay and explore. And the most astonishing fact being that the 600+ acres campus, a strength of 33000+ active students and more than 5000 faculty members, all are connected through one online platform called ‘UMS’. A management system that suffices to all the needs of everyone, everywhere, anytime.
So, starting with the dynamicity shown by the university in the conduct of events throughout the year, let’s talk about a major division of the campus, the Division of Student Welfare. This is the only division of the university that is for the students and by the students. It comprises more than 200+ student-run organizations and various departments that conduct departmental as well as university-level events such as Spectra, One India and One World where the synergy of diversity and dynamicity of the campus portrays a beautiful picture of university life and put up a great show. Apart from these events, Youth Festival is also celebrated in the university where not only students from inside the campus take part actively but also students from all around the country come and take part in. Our university is the only university that hosts a series of more than 10 celebrities in a year naming from Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to MS Dhoni, Shahrukh Khan and many more.
Events are not only the source that makes LPU happening but also the researches and inventions that the scientists out here continuously do take the university fame to the next level. Now and then LPU scientists and our budding entrepreneur students are in news for one or the other achievement of theirs. To talk about we have the example of the driverless bus that received our Honourable Prime Minister Modi Ji during the 106th ISC. Recently, when the entire country is suffering amid the COVID- 19 pandemic, our student has designed a device named KAWACH that helps the person in maintaining social distance and personal hygiene. Not only these the self-designed cars exhibited in the national expos, the food stalls and E-Rickshaw are the types of businesses that are always encouraged and appreciated. And these things not only make the place more happening and but also create a healthy learning environment.
Placements have been a crucial part for every institution and in LPU these are well taken care of. This is justified by every year’s increasing and record-breaking placements that our university gets from the big firms and reputed MNCs. And Centre of Professional Enhancement aids in this entire process by training the students and guiding them in their journey from graduates to the company officials. This is the facility that is provided rarely by any of the universities and our university is one among them.
Apart from these, other facilities for students in the campus like the foreign exchange program, the indoor stadium, massive playgrounds, swimming pool, earn while you learn policy, central library functional till late night, mall, food courts, café, security and safety and 600+ acres of campus to explore with students from all around the world to talk with and make friends, makes the student’s life more happening and active in the campus.
Thus, I don’t think so that one can find a more happening and active campus than LPU and I challenge that the dynamicity our university shows is far better than any other university present nationwide.
