Collaborations of LPU with the top universities globally are what have attracted students, and guardians to come to this university in the hope of perfect exposure, knowledge, and an introduction to the international happenings. These international tie-ups have widened the horizons and increased the opportunities for the students to rise and shine. Students have fulfilled their dreams of traveling to other countries, studying in the best university in hand, and gaining the experience required to strive in the outside world.
This time, like always, LPU has yet again tied a bond with another international university tightening its bonds of foreign relationships. LPU collaborates with Aston University, UK which is one of the top 500 universities in the world. It is a public research university located in Birmingham, England with the best placement record in the whole UK. It was given the title of “University of the Year” in 2020 by The Guardian. Also, The Times Higher Education (THE) has recognized the contribution of Aston University in guiding the careers of students towards the future they deserve and named it “Outstanding Entrepreneurial University” in 2020.
Under the survey conducted by Times Higher Education in 2022 where LPU ranked 27th amongst all the universities in India, Aston University has ranked 401-500th by THE World University Rankings 2022. It was ranked 77th in THE Young University Rankings 2016 and 76th– 100th in European Teaching Rankings 2019. The Telegraph in 2012 included Aston University among the Top 10 universities in the UK. The University comprises of different schools namely Life and Health Sciences, Aston Business School, Engineering and Applied Sciences, Aston Medical School, and Languages and Social Sciences with a strength of almost 11,000 students. There are 2000 post-graduate students apart from 9000 under-graduate students in the university. The Business School of Aston University is one of the oldest and leading business schools in the world. It has tie-ups in 40 different countries and with 140 universities including India, China, and Hong Kong.
We have seen a number of students in LPU grabbing the opportunities and studying in another university out of the country and establishing their name worldwide.
