One of our faculty members, Dr S Ravichandran, Associate Professor in Chemistry from LPU’s School of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences has presented a talk through a webinar on “Sustainable Development Goals & Green Energy“. Organized by Pondicherry University on March 20, 2021, the webinar was attended by more than 140 delegates.
This webinar has provided a common platform for young budding scientists, motivating them towards sustainable development. In September 2015, the General Assembly adopted 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To attain Sustainable Development, there is a need to bridge our traditional knowledge and Modern Science. These SDGs encourage to build a sustainable, safer, progressive and prosperous mother planet for the humanity.
