Written exam of Punjab Police Recruitment was conducted by Lovely professional University on 5th of November, 2016. The university called it an off for the students so as to accommodate the candidates and conduct the state level exam written by more than 40,000 applicants.
Punjab State Police Recruitment Board announced the vacancy for 388 Constables on 14th August. This recruitment was for Constable (Operator), Constable (Hardware), and Constable (Software) posts in the Information Technology and Telecommunication wing of Punjab Police. Men and women from all over India applied online for this test and LPU hosted such a large number of candidates successfully.
