Grabbing a prestigious golden opportunity, LPU’s international student Emmanuel Borna Peasah has been selected Campus Director for ‘One Million Dollar ‘Hult Prize‘. Also known as Students’ Nobel Prize, this prestigious prize is open to LPU students since 2018.
Hult Prize is patronised by former US President Bill Clinton every year and is the world’s largest competition inviting students from all across the world to solve a vital global issue. The best ideas from each university compete at the national level and later at the global level. The winner startup idea gets a million-dollar seed funding, visibility, branding, and investor attention to startup the enterprise.
LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal congratulated the student who grabbed this golden opportunity even during tough pandemic times. Head of Global Programs ‘Hult Prize Foundation’ Nelly Andrade has informed that Emmanuel will lead the goal of training, education, and inspiring students at LPU campus for ‘On-campus Programs‘.
Belonging to Accra City of Ghana, Emmanuel feels honoured and shares that only LPU could provide such opportunity on an international scale. He adds, “Now as a Campus Director, I will get a chance to represent LPU among many universities around the world in Boston, London or Melbourne“.
