LPU NSS gratefully thanks all the donors who had come forward to donate and is looking forward to meeting them at the next blood donation camps. Blood Donation Camp organized by LPU’s Community Service Cell initiative “Samarpan … A Lifeline” in association with Hindustan Welfare Blood Donors Club successfully completed, with a collection close to 800 units of blood. It was done with the help of medical professionals from blood banks of Civil hospital Jalandhar, Amritsar and PIMS hospital, Jalandhar.

“Samarpan … A lifeline” is one of the biggest student-run initiatives in the field of blood donation and on both days of the camp more than 300 units of blood were donated from both 28 and 55 blocks. On the second day of the camp, there was a mobile blood donation bus available at different locations for ease of access to students.
