Lovely Professional University has fostered tie-ups with 50+ Universities across the globe for student exchange programs.
Global exposure has become an important part in students’ life. Understanding this, Lovely Professional University has fostered tie-ups with 50+ Universities across the globe for student exchange programs. Under the same program, LPU students are presently attending exchange programs in various universities across the globe including King’s University (University of Western Ontario) Canada, Eberly College of Business & Information Technology (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) USA, Birmingham City University in the UK and more. Under these exchanges, LPU Students are attending academic classes and also visiting corporate & industries. The purpose of such program is to provide students with the exposure to appreciate multi-dimensional culture and a compassionate world view.
LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal says: “We always lay much stress on experiential learning. So, LPU keeps on organizing national and international tours for the students. These help students to get familiarized with the great parts of the world and to further develop a better global understanding. I personally feel that students own reaction to, observations about and understanding of something are more important than some descriptions in books and opinions of others.” Mr Mittal informed: “Presently, our students are in the top countries the USA and Canada, and after some days another batch will be in the UK. Prior to this, our students have also been to China, Japan, Singapore and more countries.”
LPU MBA students Roshni, Arshaley, Rupinder & Neha, who are presently at King’s College, have shared that are experiencing huge Canadian environment. “We have visited true wonders of the world- Niagara Falls and Maid of the Mist- which are located on either side of the border between Canada and the USA. Along with massive interactions with Canadian students also we have also visited “Iroqrafts” store which is the largest and oldest arts and crafts store, and at Canada’s largest year-round market “St Jacobs Farmers’ Market”. We are lucky to be at LPU to get such an immense chance of international exposure.” Similar are the views of BBA student Mahima Handa who is in the USA.
