Students are given extensive training and advice from the cell, which assists them in becoming ready for the process of recruiting. The cell also coordinates the hosting of a variety of workshops and seminars covering a wide range of issues, such as how to construct a CV, how to give an interview and more. Students who graduate from LPU go on to work for some of the most successful corporations in the world, including Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, Infosys, and TCS, amongst many others.
Sumeet Bansal, a student at LPU who is pursuing B.Tech. in Computer Science with Hons. degree, has secured a record-breaking placement with the innovative technology business Gojek, receiving a grand package of INR 34.83 Lacs. Sumeet is an extremely self-driven person who is open to gaining knowledge about new techniques and tools. He is the kind of person who can adjust to the norms of a variety of workplaces and is always willing to take on new responsibilities. Backend development and data analysis are two areas that interest him.
Indonesian on-demand multi-service platform Gojek offers ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics. The 2010 startup became one of Southeast Asia’s largest. Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines-based portal connects customers with independent service providers. Gojek’s services have improved delivery and provided drivers and delivery workers with jobs. The company has also invested in other startups, increasing its offerings and cementing its regional leadership.
