SWAYAM Portal is an initiative by the Government of India to digitize the education system. It has been developed by MHRD and AICTE and consists of about 2000 courses and 8000 hours of learning in the following disciplines.
Register yourself now on the SWAYAM Portal to avail this lifelong learning opportunity. HOW TO REGISTER:
Step 1: Go to the official website: https://swayam.gov.in
Step 2: Then click on “REGISTER” button at the top right corner.
Step 3: A new page will open, click the “SIGN UP NOW” link underneath the login form.
Step 4: Fill all the required details in the form and submit the form by clicking on “CREATE” Button at the bottom.
Step 5: Choose the appropriate course and click on “ENROLL NOW” on the Course page. For some courses, enrollment is not yet open, you can enrol accordingly.
Step 6: Fill the LPU form registration form at the following link latest by Dec 15, 2017.

Key highlights of the course:
- In order to ensure the best quality content to be produced and delivered, National Coordinators are appointed viz. NPTEL for Engineering, UGC for Post Graduation, CEC for undergraduate education and IIM Bangalore for management studies.
- Departments can propose up to 20% of the total courses being offered in a particular program in a semester through the online learning courses provided through SWAYAM platform in the credit plan of the program scheme.
