In the ever growing economy of India, urbanization does play a major roll. The basic and most primary agenda of making a country developed is to work on technology and stride towards modernization which forms the backbone of nation’s strength.
Technological advances ensures scientific flourishment of a nation. Nations are being divided into categories of developed, developing and under developed all on the principal constituent of their technological strength and their rate of adaption to modern concepts. Japan however, is considered as a rapid developer. Thanks to technology that forms a base of their refurbishment.
Well the advancement certainly blooms a lot if we ignore the demerits which actually have a more worse impact over our surroundings.
Growth in technology does shatter the ecology of a particular defined area.
For eg. Delhi being technologically advanced has depleted the natural resources also hampering the nature with pollution on a wider level due to which its citizens have to deal with abstract weather conditions and smog.
As stopping bio-diversity depletion completely is fairly impossible, steps should be taken in order to reduce the ecological damage to some extend.
Issues like global warming are far more perilous than what we see in the news bulletins. As social factors and personal development seems more important to humans than preserving nature for future generations.
Following is a clear image of human destruction over nature. Comparison of pederson glacier of Alaska which is almost 90% melted due to global warming caused by humans.
Comparison of a rain-forest before and after complete destruction.
Here is another example of global warming effects over our nature.
Well, the environment will surely payback its debts one day. The nature will be so fierce that no technology will be able to save us from the mass destruction.
Practically we need to initiate contemplating the situations.
Government does perform its functions by carrying out promotional campaigns, effective taglines, fines and punishment if caught and impositions of law. In a country of 1.34 billion the government does seems to be a very small body. Therefore, personal maneuver is obligatory to truncate this natural depletion.
Saying no to plastic equipments that couldn’t be recycled, keeping our rivers pure by not throwing waste in it, using bicycles to reduce the flow of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere, giving plants as gifts on birthdays’ is something we can do as our contribution to the nature.
We have built multiple things for personal benefits by destroying our nature. Now, lets build a healthy environment around us, as a gratitude to our nature, at least for the sense of satisfaction that we contributed our small bit that we owe to our mother nature.
