Lovely Professional University once again came alive with colors, culture, and creativity as One India 2025 transformed the campus into a vibrant “Mini India”! Organized by the Division of Arts and Culture, this year’s celebration beautifully showcased the theme “Gatha-e-Bharat: Narratives of Monuments and History,” bringing together students from across the country to celebrate India’s timeless heritage.
A Grand Inauguration by Distinguished Guests
The event was graced by the Hon’ble Shri Arvind Kejriwal, National Convener, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Hon’ble Shri Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab, who served as the Chief Guests for the occasion. They inaugurated the event with great enthusiasm, explored the student stalls representing different states, interacted with participants, and witnessed the incredible talent of LPU students firsthand during their visit to the #LPUCampus.
India Comes Alive at LPU!
One India 2025 truly embodied the essence of Unity in Diversity, as students from 28 states and 8 union territories showcased the diverse cultural tapestry of our nation. The campus was adorned with vibrant decorations, traditional processions, regional art displays, and captivating performances that celebrated the spirit of India — from the folk beats of Punjab to the classical grace of Tamil Nadu.
Through mesmerizing folk dances, traditional music, and creative exhibits, students narrated the stories of India’s monuments and history, leaving the audience spellbound. The event became a melting pot of traditions, languages, and art forms that celebrated the unity and pride of being Indian.
SUR DHARA – India’s Musical Heritage Comes Alive! 🎵
As part of One India 2025, the “Sur Dhara” musical concert celebrated the rich and diverse musical traditions of India. Students from various states performed soulful songs that reflected the essence of their regions — from devotional melodies to vibrant folk tunes.
JHOOMO RE – The Dance Extravaganza!
The evening lit up with “Jhoomo Re,” a spectacular dance concert that celebrated India’s rhythmic soul. Students delivered breathtaking performances representing the cultural dances of different states — from the energetic Garba of Gujarat to the graceful Bharatanatyam of Tamil Nadu and the lively Bhangra of Punjab.
Each performance radiated passion, pride, and unity, turning the stage into a celebration of India’s living heritage.
