It’s been one month since the new term and even winter cold is slowly decreasing. And of course, our dear teachers have started to give us CAs. Which I should say is not every student’s favourite. But we do it all the time as I am sure having re-appears and backlogs is not on the list of the to-do list of any college student. So, I’m listing the kind of CAs we all get.
-
The Speech One
We always have at least one CA in our entire college career where we need to speak up. For some, it might be a nightmare or for some, it might be the best assignment because speaking is what they’re best at. One way or another by being pushed to front from comfort zone, you learn to overcome your fears and stand tall in front of all.
-
The Monotonous One
This is something most of us dread, the assignment which is monotonous. Comparatively it is easier to do as most of the times you just put in less mental effort.
-
The One Requiring Hard Work
This is the one which we would want to run miles away from. It sometimes feels like we are expected to display a fish climbing a tree. God knows how much our lives would be easier not having this assignments deadline breaking down our necks. But we are students and we go hand in hand with the word “Jugad”. So no matter how much we sweat, at the end of the day, we will show our best capabilities.
-
The Creative One
Creative people love it whereas other genre inclined people do not love it as much. To me, the things one could do when their creativity comes out is absolutely amazing and I am left thinking, How in world did I not come up with that?
-
The Complaining One
Student life has its own ups and downs and it doesn’t get better when we get assignments whose unique trait is that, we complete it but not before we complain about it every step of the way. Probably your roommate tells you to shut up as she/he is done with listening to your “10-hour thesis on how this CA should not be existing on the face of planet earth”.
-
The 2 hours before the Deadline One
This one is what we usually do. Except if you are very sincere and obedient to the assignments teachers give you, then you get it on time. Otherwise, the jugadu students like us just like to get it done 2 hours before the deadline(And probably the entire room comes together in an effort to make you submit it in time).
Good, bad, better, worse we experience it all but have you ever noticed that our CAs each time have a unique feel to it? Ones that years later in reunions we might reminisce about how tough we felt it then or how helpful it was. So do smile because then the world becomes a bit happier place.
