Background & Rationale

Workshop on ‘Team Building, Time Management and Goal Setting’, a Corporate Training Program was organised at Lovely Professional University for staff members of M/S BHAVISHYA ENTERPRISES. Dr. Sunil, Associate Professor, and Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Assistant Director, Lovely Professional University were the key facilitators.

The Workshop focused on business development through teamwork, time management and effective goal setting. The participants learnt how to divide their time into important and urgent activities. The 80-20 principles were also discussed with them. Importance was given to setting goals and achieving it on time. SMART technique of goal setting was also discussed with the help of activities. Team building activities were one of the key factors of the workshop. The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included inputs, group discussions, case based analysis, role plays and finally presentations by the participants illustrating their findings.

The program received active participation of staff members from M/S Bhavishya Enterprises. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study tours and content delivery. They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons.

The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic. It was crafted to meet the training needs stated by the client.
