Workshop on NSSO Unit-Level Data Extraction and Analysis Using SAS with 44 participants from diverse disciplines consisting of Faculty, Researchers and Research Scholars culminated after eight days of invaluable inputs on diverse range of topics. Dr. Rajesh Verma, Workshop Advisor, Senior Dean and Head, Mittal School of Business, Lovely Professional University congratulated the participants on achieving this milestone and exhorted them to conduct, which gives hands-on experience to the participants to extract the data using SAS software which is designed to handle big data. The participants will also get an insight into estimating descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. He remarked that the need of the moment was interdisciplinary and cross domain research and that the only way to achieve it is through collaborative initiatives. He lauded the hosting of the event and the round the clock service by the Organizing Committee, conduct by the subject matter experts and the receptiveness of the participants.
Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Professor and Dean and Convener said that this course was crafted to empower the researchers and build capacity to build more accurate attitudinal and behavioural models that present complicated interactions than typical multivariate statistical approaches.
Dr. Pooja Kansra, Professor, Mittal School of Business, and Convener was also the subject matter expert for the last session, which focused on Inferential Statistics Applied to NSSO data. The session also covered the essential principles behind building questionnaires, theory development and building conceptual model.

Patiently they handled participant queries, giving them practical tips that could help the participants in their research. The outcome was a gamut of pertinent knowledge, skills and information covering the Research Journey right from the first step, delivered in a mode of Exploration, Experience and Experiment.
The program was unanimously appreciated by the participants as being hosted with meticulous planning, executed with precision finesse, full of researching insights, techniques and skills. It was hailed by one and all as the most wonderful experience ever.
