Representing India among 1,500+ competitors from 60 countries, LPU student Shubham Singh has charmed us all by being one of the 19 Young Indian medallists at the prestigious World Skills 2019 competition held at Kazan, Russia.
Shubham has bagged the coveted ‘Medal of Excellence‘ award in Cyber Security at this international competition. Even after operating a computer much later than most of his peers, he continued to pursue his passion for technology, software and Cyber Security, and thus achieved such a grand feat, making the entire nation proud!
Preparing for a world-level skill competition wasn’t easy, so LPU faculty members helped him throughout his journey. Shubham credits his mathematics professor Gurpreet Singh for helping him understand the mathematic equations of different cryptography algorithms and professor Ajay Kumar Bansal who used to teach Operating systems for clearing his doubts.
The World Skills 2019 competition lasted four days and ended with a closing ceremony, prize distribution, and acknowledgements. We are proud of our verto!
