Burj Khalifa Lit Up in Tricolour

On India’s 68th Republic Day, this 26 January, the world’s tallest miracle The Burj Khalifa presented its grand tribute by lighting up in tricolour. The LED shows complimented the fountain shows in Dubai which attracted a large crowd and gave the audience a beautiful event.

A ceremony of hoisting the flag took place at the Indian Consulate in Dubai, where Consul Anurag Bhushan did the honors. This was followed by another flag hoisting event in Oud Metha, an Indian High School situated in Dubai. The ceremony at the school began with the students’ march past which lead to the proceedings of the event ‘aaj ki sham desh ke naam’ where they showcased various Indian cultural programs.

This was Abu Dhabi’s answer to the invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi to be the guest of honour at India’s Republic Celebration.
