Background & Rationale
The Microsoft Technical Associate Certification, is an entry-level credential that validates fundamental technology skills and knowledge among professionals and job-seekers who are pursuing a career in technology. Upon earning a certification, 23% of Microsoft certified technologists reported receiving up to a 20% salary increase. What’s more, certified employees are often entrusted with supervising their peers—putting them on the fast track for a promotion. Awareness of these certification, benefits and client identification and promotion for growth and development was the perceived outcome of Client Identification and Promotion of Microsoft Technical Associate Certification, a Corporate Training Program organized by Lovely Professional University for executives of M/S Shreyanshi Consultancy Pvt Ltd, Kanpur. Mr. Navdeep Kumar, Assistant Professor and Mr. Sawal Tandon, Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University were the key facilitators.
The six-day residential program in two batches focused on the process, promotion and leveraging target segment. The processes were explained with a demonstration approach. The practical aspects of each certification were discussed with participants. The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included inputs, audio visuals, group discussions and deliberations, demonstration and finally presentations by the participants illustrating their findings. The highlight of this program was the social and cultural evenings arranged for the participants for their unwinding.

The program received active participation of staff members from M/S Shreyanshi Consultancy Pvt Ltd, Kanpur. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study tours and content delivery. They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons. The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic.
