Don’t you ever think that one of the best things that could happen to you was that you are the student of LPU? Yeah, you might say it has its downs too especially with the girls’ hostel timing and all but Hey! You study in one of the most prestigious universities in India. And you get to experience a concoction of cultures around you. A place which has so many opportunities for you (If you head the right way).

Cultural Barriers Negated

You have people coming from all over the world and not just country to study with. Many international students might even be your roommates or classmates. And with them, you get to see and know so many different things. Their food, traditional clothing, slangs and of course, South Indian languages. For most people, there’s no discrimination between different Sound Indian languages because they all sound the same to someone who has never got acquainted with the Southern states. But, you have the chance to get acquainted with their different cultures and languages while you’re studying here at LPU!

Cultural Barriers Negated

There are at times language barriers, social barriers, culture barriers but all of them are nullified when you come together, live and spend days gossiping about your day or comforting each other after a horrible event. (Trust me I had awkward situations due to language which many others might have faced too, cause at times words spoken by the other person flew right above my head and I stand in front of a person like I totally go that!)

Cultural Barriers Negated

Yes, there are quarrels, arguments and fights but at the end of the day, you leave the university having those precious memories you spent with your friends, roommates, classmates who are from diverse cultural backgrounds. Maybe in few years time, you might reminisce and smile how an international friend of yours learnt Punjabi or how you picked up few words of South Indian languages while eating the cuisine.
