The spring session of 2019 for PhD scholars at Lovely Professional University concluded on 30 May 2019 with pomp and show when the Divisional Head of ISMEA region from Panasonic, Mr. Pankaj Rana himself addressed the scholars. Mr. Rana’s humble and straightforward oration style and his rich industrial experience spellbound the researchers.
The orientation of research and its conclusion and the aim of a PhD were well defined by him when he said that research should reach and benefit the common man. Mr. Rana’s thoughts and guidance for the students was reinforced by Dr. Lovi Raj Gupta, Executive Dean, Lovely Faculty of Technology and Sciences.
In Dr. Gupta’s words, “Dear Scholars, your research outcome should not just be read by the future generations off the shelves of a library but experienced by them in the course of their lives.” The duo successfully motivated and satisfied the curiosity of the scholars which ultimately reflects the spirit and vision of Lovely Professional University.
