LPU faculty member from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. S. Ravichandran, Associate Professor in Chemistry, has delivered a lecture during the webinar on Celebration of Science for Sustainable Development at Vivekananda Senior Secondary School, Karnal. Organized on February 23, 2021 to motivate the students towards science, the webinar was attended by over 90 delegates.
This webinar has provided a common platform for young budding scientists to kindle their inner scientific temper and to motivate them towards high-quality research. Every year since 1987, the National Science Day is celebrated to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman. This year the theme for National Science Day is “Future of STI: Impact on Education Skills and Work”.
In addition, Dr. Ravichandran has also delivered the guest lecture on “Celebration of Science for Sustainable Development” at Kendriya Vidhyalaya School, Bathinda and Pingle Government College for Women, Warangal (Telengana).
