Unilab is established as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and follows the technical managerial procedure as per the established guidelines. National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is a Constituent Board of Quality Council of India (QCI) and provide CAB (Conformity Assessment Body’s) accreditation, which involves third-party assessment of the technical competence of testing including medical and calibration laboratories, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers. In our School of Civil Engineering, “Unilab-Mechanical testing of building and construction materials”, established as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017, is now NABL accredited.
School of Civil Engineering offers a course on laboratory management system as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 to help students become an entrepreneur in the field of laboratory testing (students can start their own laboratories). They can also become independent auditors, assessors and also join the existing lab as Quality Head/Technical Head.
