Lovely Professional University recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toshvin Analytical Private Limited. The purpose of this collaboration is to build the framework for cooperation in research and instruments in the areas of mutual interest. Toshvin Analytical Private Limited, one of India’s leading companies in the field of sales, marketing and servicing of high technology analytical and laboratory instruments and representing Shimadzu Corporation, Japan for their wide range of analytical instruments.
The objective of this agreement is to promote the Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) facility of LPU as a key facility for studies in Chemical/ Pharmaceuticals/ Environmental/ Food/ Agro and Botanical Sciences for Research and Development in the region and in India. The agreement will enhance the existing research capabilities of Lovely Professional University.
Within the framework of Central Instrumentation Facility, several centres are established and one such centre is “Shimadzu-LPU centre for advanced chromatography and mass spectrometry”. LPU will conduct certification for seminar and workshops on GC-MS jointly with Toshvin Analytical Private Limited for providing exposure to the students.
