From Scholastics to expressions, the students at Lovely Professional University have managed to carve their names in the brilliant ink of progress. I nab a feeling of immense gratification of being a student at LPU as I go through the everyday accomplishments of students who are carrying off such mind-blowing wins day-to-day. From Neeraj Chopra in the Olympics to Ruhi Singh in Bollywood, all the students are giving us the opportunity to feel inflated with a sense of pride. Today we have news right from Bollywood’s Filmfare Awards likewise the Indian Oscars, as they have declared the nominations for this year’s ceremony and are fortunate for us as an alumna of Lovely Professional University, Ruhi Singh has been nominated in the Best Actress category.
Our impending star, Ruhi Singh, is a Law student at Lovely Professional University who is currently pursuing an integrated course of Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law. She entered the movie industry’s Ott platform and has seized the golden opportunity of being a nominee for the best OTT actress award. She got an opportunity to work at the ott platform which she certainly rocked.
Runaway Lugaai and Chakravyuh are two of her masterpieces for which she has been nominated as the Best Actress for the FILMFARE OTT Awards 2021. Runaway Lugaai has a genre of Comedy and Drama with an IMDB rating of eight. On the other hand, Chakravyuh has multiple genres like Crime Thrill Mystery and Action, with an IMBD rating of seven.
The actress has certainly performed well in both the series, for she has been appointed to square such a grandiose spot. Since it is about the Big Screen, I mustn’t forget to mention a quote I was lately struck by and is ideal for the circumstance. The quote is from the movie Interstellar which says, “We’ve always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known.
