Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) and School of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University offered an engaging three days Workshop on E-TABS Software w.e.f Feb 13-15, 2020.
The workshop had involved the participants regarding the conceptual design, approximate analysis and optimization to safely carry different loads acting on the structure with codal provisions using IS: 875-1987 (part-2), IS: 456-2000, IS: 1893-1962.
With the help of various Industrial Examples quoted by the resource person Mr Ganesh, the participants were made to understand and develop the skills required for designing and detailing of structural buildings. They also learnt to evaluate different problem statements, thereby increasing proficiency in key civil engineering concepts.
