One of the prestigious magazines of India ‘Career Connect’ has ranked Lovely Professional University in top-10 as “Excellent” distance education institutions of India. With the highest rating of 4.5 stars for providing the best distance education in the country, LPU stands tall among top 58 universities offering quality distance education programs. This esteemed ranking has been published in Volume 5, Issue 10 of the July 2017 edition of the magazine. LPU distance education programs are also considered number one in the entire northern region. This rating is based on the research and assessment done on various parameters including accreditation, image, study material, placements, and responsiveness. After commencing the distance education programmes, LPU has achieved top rankings in a very short span.

Similarly, many other students have also proved their mettle in various academic, sports and cultural events.”
LPU’s distance education programmes offer Masters, Bachelors, Postgraduate Diploma, and Diploma. These programmes are in the disciplines of management, computer applications, information technology, commerce, arts, library and information sciences. LPU has adopted modern and technology driven blended system of delivery. LPU e-Connect, an online learning management system of LPU DE, provides exhaustive online support to the students. Additionally, Personal Contact Programs (PCPs) are conducted for various courses at the university campus. Placement support is extended to the DE students which helps them to stay informed about industry placements and MNCs placement drives.
