With the aim to enhance the entrepreneurial culture typically for the women of the country, a Bootcamp for Women Entrepreneurs was conducted at the Lovely Professional University, under the Enprendia project for promoting entrepreneurship among women students. With the interest of a substantial number of students, the event was a success. It included various trading of thoughts and queries. Along with that inputs regarding the Step by Step guide for B-Plan, Ideation through Design Thinking, and How Women Entrepreneurs are defining success, were provided. This was all done to kindle women’s interest in entrepreneurship.
You might have heard of numerous male entrepreneurs, but can you recall the name of any Indian women entrepreneurs? Not your fault, for there exists a very low count for them. As per stats, entrepreneurship in India is led majorly by men. Nevertheless, we must not forget to acknowledge established entrepreneurs like Divya Gokulnath (Co-founder BYJU’S), Dr Florida Tilton (Founder of Biozone Research Technologies), Malini Aggarwal (Founder and Creative Director of Miss Malini), Khushboo Jain (Co-Founder of and COO of Impact Guru) and many more who are the recognized leading women entrepreneurs in the country. Despite that women entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurship are the subjects that could be considered without the word WOMEN. However, there exists a need to highlight the subject that exists in minority. Indeed! women entrepreneurs, particularly Indian, have a significantly dwindling number according to the insights. Yet, the great part is that as of late it is seen that the number of women with various entrepreneurial activities is doing exceedingly well in the forte. And to further aid their spirit a project Enprendia is launched.
Enprendia is all about the section of society that is yet to be empowered. It is created with the aim to enhance female entrepreneurship in India. It is a project which is brought into consideration with the goal to build some powerful institutions with the foremost higher education in the country. The project was of uber need here in India as the contribution of the women as per the stats was comparatively low and with this, we expect that the project embeds equality and empowerment to the women of the nation.
