We are excited to announce that our talented students participated in Robot Making Competition Robofest Gujarat – 3.0 and made us proud!

The vertos from the Student Chapter Robotics and Intelligent Systems Community (RISC) have recently participated in Robofest Gujarat 3.0, an annual robotics competition organized by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology, Govt. of Gujarat. The competition witnessed some of the brightest minds from across the state showcase their robotic innovations and compete against each other in various categories.

The RISC team, consisting of two groups, secured a spot in the highly competitive Hexapod Category, which required designing and building a six-legged robot capable of complex movements. Their innovative and efficient ideas impressed the judges, and each team was awarded funding of Rs. 50,000 to further develop their projects.

We extend our hearty congratulations to the following students for their exceptional performance in the competition:

Team 1: Mohammad Furkan, B Naga Vamsi Reddy, R. Bhanu Mahesh, Manasa Murarisetty, and Ruhani Rawal

Team 2: Bhushan Vasant Nanaware, Ravindra Singh, A Sai Srija, Sri Vishnu JSB

Their hard work and dedication have led them to the next stage (proof of concept) where they’ll create a prototype for their ideation.

The LPU’s RISC club aims to promote robotics and AI education among students and provide them with opportunities to showcase their skills on various platforms.

The success at Robofest Gujarat 3.0 is a step towards achieving this goal and inspiring more students to pursue their passion for robotics and technology.
