For the last two days, all the flower lovers of Lovely Professional University have been flocking towards Block 30 for the LPU School of Agriculture’s ‘Spring Flower Show and Competition’. The two day event included a flower exhibition as well as competitions in several categories, at no cost of entry.
There was great participation from individuals, private institutions and organizations, government and semi government institutions and organizations, amateurs, and nurseries. The Flower Show comprised fauna in 9 classes and 97 sections which included fresh/dry flower arrangement, cacti, a variety of flowers, succulent, foliage and perennial flowering plants.
Our beautiful campus, vibrant with colorful roses, was made even more lovely (pun intended) by the gorgeous displays put forward by the Agriculture department and the various competitors. The day was sunny, the air smelled sweetly of fresh flowers, and there were smiling faces everywhere. A better celebration of spring, would be really hard to find.
