The alumni of Lovely Professional University residing in Australia came together for a virtual meetup on May 6, 2023. LPU’s Division of Alumni Relations in collaboration with Australia Chapter Core Committee Members organized the Virtual Alumni Reunion: Australia Chapter. Held on 6th May 2023, the event aimed to bring together graduates from different batches and courses, to celebrate their achievements, renew friendships, and create new opportunities for networking and collaboration.
The event was inaugurated by Famin A, Deputy Officer at Alumni Relations. He warmly welcomed everyone with an opening speech, encouraging them to feel at ease and comfortable during the virtual meet.
Australia Chapter executive member Mrs. Karanvir Kaur welcomed everyone to the event and emphasized the importance of alumni networking in creating lifetime relationships and opportunities. She also informed the alumni about the different activities and initiatives organized by the Australia Chapter and encouraged them to participate actively in them. She then started introducing herself to the community which helped others to go through the same.
Alumni from various pass-out years who are working in renowned organizations such as Ernst and Young, Tran core, KPMG, Fidelity International, Inspiring Vacations, PwC, and scholars who are doing their masters in Australia joined the event.
The event highlighted the importance of networking, collaboration, and staying connected with one’s alma mater. The reunion was an excellent platform for alumni to build new relationships, seek career guidance and advice, and contribute towards the development of LPU’s alumni network.
The Virtual Alumni Reunion: Australia Chapter proved to be an excellent opportunity for the alumni to connect with their former classmates, share their experiences, and explore new ideas.
