Another student has finally fulfilled her dream of studying abroad at one of the renowned universities. LPU’s B. Tech CSE student Vidushi Katare cherished the wonderful opportunity of studying at one of the leading universities of the world, Dongseo University, South Korea, with a 100% tuition fee waiver under the semester exchange program.
The first thing that comes in Vidushi’s mind when travelling is “safety”. “When you are travelling solo to a different country, that being a girl, you are always concerned about safety. And I should say that South Korea is really safe for everyone,” adds Vidushi.
Dongseo University (DSU) is a private university in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea. Established in 1992 through the Dongseo Educational Foundation. In 2013, DSU was ranked by Quacquarelli Symonds with The Chosun Ilbo among the Top 50 Asian universities for internationalization.
“We have lots of memories from South Korea. The best one among them is the girls trip we undertook to Jeju Island. It has been a dream for us to visit this marvellous place. We visited all the popular places in Jeju Island. We also celebrated our birthday together. It was real fun,” says Vidushi.

And it surely adds to your confidence. “When you are staying alone in a far away country, it makes you more independent. Today, I am more confident than ever before,” adds Vidushi.
