Background & Rationale
SEVA-Service Excellence through Value Addition-IV, a Corporate Training Program was organized at Lovely Professional University for the participants of Pioneer Assurance Consultants Ltd. Dr. Amit Mittal, Associate Professor, Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Assistant Director and Mr. Ashwani Panesar, Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University were the key facilitators for the fourth session in the series.
The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included breathers, inputs, group discussions, role plays, case-based analysis, team activities, field assignments, market survey, analysis and presentations by the participants.

“Your ability to communicate with others will account for fully 85% of your success in your business and your life.”- Brian Tracy. Non verbal and verbal communication plays a vital role in creating and retaining relationship in business. Participants were emphasized on using assertive communication style for attaining maximum output. The traits of assertive communication style were demonstrated through role plays on different real time situations. Techniques of presenting about the services in a group were displayed by the resource persons. An assignment of Market Survey on the services of the company was given to the participants.
The program received active participation of staff members from Pioneer Assurance Consultants Ltd. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study tours and content delivery. The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic.
