Take Your Time

In this dizzyingly complex world of constant change, people are in a continuous race against time to be better than the best. Competitive spirit oozes out from the very existence of people and their way of living. People are in a constant race against each other in whatsoever way they can compete. It’s good to be in the cycle of competition talking in context of the generation we are part of, but it is also not healthy to be so eager to get everything in life without going through all the phases.

The times have changed, and so have the people of this generation. There is no more pause in life to stop for a particular moment and just live for the moment itself. We are all so eager to grow up that we forget about the little things that matter, and become ignorant of the stages we need to go through before we just grow up to be part of the rat race.

‘Time waits for none’ is pretty much the truth, but what of its value if we don’t slow down once in a while to cherish and experience the little moments that are to bear great impact on the future.

One fine day, we are all going to become responsible citizens of the society and bring about changes that would help move our world to better days, but why do we have to be so eager to make that ‘one day’ right now. It’s absolutely acceptable to take a step back and ‘Take your time’ to learn and grow in every new experience and moment of your life.

It’s not wise to skip step 2, 3, or 4 to reach our final destination, because every step is made in such a way so as to bring forth a better understanding and meaning to the reason we are doing something.

Life becomes even more worthwhile if we take our time to live and experience every new phase that comes into our life.
