The day 3 and 4 of YV 2016 saw as much enthusiasm, if not more than the previous two days. Some truly unique competitions were held, of which, two caught my fancy particularly – Packaging Design and Darbar.
Packaging Design involved the creation of box and packaging design for the online shopping products provided, with the use of eco-friendly materials. The products provided to the participating teams were eggs and glassware. Amidst awe and laughter, a lot of creativity was witnessed. Darbar was a theatre competition that saw plays on many socially important and relevant issues. The LPU stage was indeed fortunate to be the site of such a powerful showcasing of talent and skill.
Many other events such as Folk Dance, Mega Model Hunt, Social Summit, Maze Hunter, Blood Donation camp etc. were also held, and saw enthusiastic participation. The highlight, however was the EDM night. The enthusiastic crowd at LPU grooved all night to the varied talents of DJ Morgan J (Italy), DJ Margot (Italy), DJ Hitesh (official DJ of Bohemia), DJ Elenkey, DJ Aveedo, and DJ Carnivore. Music was never more magical!
