TRAIN THE TRAINER: CREATING AND DELIVERING VIRTUOUS TRAINING-Physical & Digital organized by Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), Lovely Professional University and Trainers Academy, Zone 1 JCI India catered to the professional enhancement and growth of participants with training background from JCI India and Lovely Professional University.

The Organizing and Resource Team consisted of Course Convenor-HRDC, Dr. Sunaina Ahuja.  Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Coordinator, Mr. Puneet Soni from Lovely Professional University and JC. Mahesh Arora, Coordinator and Dean Trainers Academy JCI India, Zone 1 and Mr. Raman Nayar, an International Trainer and Business Coach.

The program was divided into four days with three online sessions and a Face to Face Session at LPU Campus. The three-pronged approach adopted focused on the Behaviour and Role of a trainer and skills updations with hands-on orientation on the usage of free online platforms for enhancing participant engagement.

The last day saw a face-to-face interaction with a training assignment design by the participants who were divided into four groups. Each group worked on a situational case study and presented a Design Matrix catering to the prospective client’s need.

Hands-on Experiential Training, Case Studies, Discussion leading technique and eliciting questions kept the learning a two-way process and engaged the participants in a purposeful dialogue.

The session resources were shared on a daily basis on the Wakelet collection including the session recordings. The assessment and evaluation were conducted through two assignments based on the session learning outcomes.

The participants were unanimous in their appreciation of the course in terms of the content, delivery and organization. The responsiveness of the organizing team was applauded by the participants who expressed that this was one of the best learning experiences. They also expressed the desire that such programs should be frequently conducted.

The valedictory session had a buzz of vibrancy and enthusiasm generated by the participants! It was graced by JCI dignitaries’: JC. Mukhinder Singh, Past National President, a leading industrialist and President of Laghu Udyog, Phagwara, JC. Rakesh Dada, Past Executive Vice President JCI India and a prominent social service personality from   Jalandhar and Mr. Bhupinder Singh Jolly, Past Zone President, JCI India, Zone 1 and Director of Punjab Small Scale Industry Development Corporation appointed by the Government of Punjab. All appreciated the efforts and organizing ability of Lovely Professional University and offered to have more collaborative initiatives. JC. Rakesh Dada, who had recently authored a first-ever documented Coffee Table Book on the world-renowned festival of music-The Harvallabh Sangeet Sammelan, presented the same to the LPU Library, received by Executive Dean, Research and Innovation, Lovely Professional University, Dr. Dharam Buddhi who gave his closing address and felicitated the guests.
