The Higher Education Ecosystem has been renovating its pivotal variables, like teaching, learning, institution, and knowledge. We’ve seen that the pandemic has intensely affected the academic community and thereby altering the nature of Teaching-Learning process. There is a dire need for e-learning and extension of teaching-learning over remote and digital platforms. However, this need of the hour to create skilled and professionally competent human resources can only be accomplished by equipping a teacher with the role that will enable students to develop their critical and analytical skills.
In this context, LPU Human Resource Development Center is organizing GURU-DAKSHTA: Faculty Induction Program (FIP) from May 03, 2021 to June 07, 2021 which will be strictly implemented as per MHRD and UGC guidelines. The primary objective of this program is to motivate the teachers to invigorate the learning process by embracing innovative pedagogic approaches. It will empower the teachers to perform multiple roles of teaching, research, and service in a more effective and meaningful manner.
The Guru Dakshta: Faculty Induction Program will be conducted for over 30 days which includes online classes in synchronous mode, project work, assignments, quizzes, presentations and teach-back sessions. Besides, the program contents have been framed as per Guru-Dakshta: Faculty Induction Program guidelines of University Grants Commission notified in September 2019.
